All over the map

April went by like a horse called Sovereignty. We’re a week deep in May and today I’m leaving for a five-day trip without my laptop for the first time in I literally cannot remember how long. I am fighting some strong impulses to pack twice as many books as I can realistically read, because I’ve also cleared my desk of blurbs and other industry obligations, so it’s a rare moment that I can read literally whatever I want. Be still, my heart.

Pretty much nothing else is gonna be still from here on out. As of today, we’re four months out from Hot Wax launch, which means it’s time to kick everything into high gear.
